Alshifa Multispeciality Hospital is run under the aegis of Human Welfare Trust (HWT) - national level implementing organization of ‘Vision 2026’ project. The hospital, located in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, focuses on healthcare and community development services at an affordable cost. It ensures better health care services for the welfare of around two million people mainly belonging to lower and middle-income groups of the society residing in its adjacent areas. Alshifa facilitates 20 departments including diagnostic centers with a total number of 342 qualified staff. The hospital provides dialysis services with the lowest rate in New Delhi. In collaboration with the Govt. of Delhi, Alshifa is also running a free vaccination center.

Established in 1994, Human Welfare Trust has evolved as one of India’s leading nongovernmental organizations dedicated in carrying out humanitarian and development programs to fight poverty and people’s sufferings by working in partnership with vulnerable communities regardless of faith, caste, gender, or political beliefs.

“VISION 2026” is an ambitious plan envisioned by HWT and other partner organizations to bring about transformation on the social landscape of the country. The plan envisages the establishment of multifarious institutions across the country, with a strong human resource of committed volunteers and recognized community leaders. The program intervenes the needs of the day when one-thirds of the country's population hardly met the basic amenities for its servility.
